North Coast Montessori's Elementary program (grades 1-5) is rooted in experiential learning, community and is dedicated to nurturing each child’s social, emotional and intellectual abilities. The Elementary student is motivated by imagination and curiosity, and we encourage individual development through independent discovery and a cultivation of self-awareness.

The classroom is child-centered and provides a learning experience that is multi-aged, hands-on and adaptive to individual needs. We provide our students with an authentic Montessori curriculum that creates self-reliant and inquisitive lifelong learners. 

North Coast Montessori students take part in regular excursions into the community to use the lush surroundings of our coastal environment as part of their life science classroom. As a small community based in friendship, respect, peace education and a love of learning, North Coast Montessori is an enriched school environment ideal for the needs of the 6-11 year old student.
